Note: A computer can be infected when files are just copied, some viruses reside in the memory, so when a memory device or program is loaded into the memory, the virus then attaches itself to it. That is how the virus moves.
1--- virus can be polymorphic----- Some virus can modify their code, meaning one virus can have as many codes as possible and they are always similar.
2----It can be a stealth virus.... Here it first attaches itself to files or computer and later attacks the whole system, this way the virus spreads rapidly.
3-----Virus can carry another virus---- Viruses are software so they carry another software, which can be a virus to, this makes the virus more lethal and dangerous.
4----- A virus can stay on in a system after it has been formatted. If a computer is completely ersaed and the virus is on a backup disk it can easily re-infect the computer.
